Two workers were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious burns this afternoon after a flash fire at a manufacturing plant in Rochester. It happened at Arconic, a supplier of parts for the aerospace industry on McKee Road.
Fire Department Spokesman Hudson Amon says a hydraulic press was leaking fluid, and at about 12:30 p.m. it reached an ignition source and burst into flames. The result was a 30 foot fireball which seriously burned both men as they stood near the press.
