Nobody was seriously injured when fire hit a Rochester Institute of Technology housing unit Tuesday night.
RIT says the fire started about 8:10 p.m. in a kitchen at the Colony Manor Apartments on Colony Manor Drive in Henrietta. Three students were evaluated at the scene for smoke inhalation. All were OK.
Three units suffered structural damage, and alternate housing arrangements had to be made for 10 students.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
