Seven tenants are receiving help from the Red Cross after a fire yesterday evening on McKee Road in Rochester.
A Rochester Fire Department spokesman says crews arrived just after 6:30 p.m. to find smoke coming from the rear of the building. They called a second alarm within 10 minutes to help secure more water. The fire appears to have started on the first floor of the apartment house and spread to the roof.
Nobody was hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
