Fire destroyed a home in Webster Thursday afternoon.
The West Webster Fire Department was called to the house on Hills Pond Road for a report of a garage fire. They arrived to find the fire had spread to the house, which has been declared a total loss.
Firefighters from Webster, Brighton and Ridge Culver also responded to the scene and helped fight the fire. The homeowner was treated for minor smoke inhalation, but nobody was seriously hurt. No cause has been reported so far.
