Rochester firefighters say a house and a car were destroyed on Berlin Street early Tuesday morning when fire broke out about 2:20 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a car fully involved in flames that had spread to the side of the house. The fire made its way inside walls and was hard to fight. The house was under renovation and was unoccupied. It was a total loss.
The cause is under investigation. This was the second fire on that part of Berlin Street within eight hours. No injuries were reported.
