A two-alarm fire claimed a person’s life early Wednesday morning on Jerold Street in Rochester.
The fire was reported about 5:30 a.m. in a house at 73 Jerold Street. Smoke detectors alerted the residents. Two got out on their own, and firefighters rescued a third person safely. But a body was found inside the building. Fire crews haven’t said whether it was a man or a woman’s body.
