OK, folks, we can feel like ourselves again. Snow shoveling time.
The big storm passing up the East Coast set our lake effect snow train running. Most of the Rochester area got a couple of inches, with the snow getting heavier from west-to-east, and a lot heavier east of Monroe County from Sodus Bay towards Cato.
A National Weather Service spotter reported 13 inches on the ground in Newark, Wayne County Friday morning. The town of Greece got about four inches.
More general snow will fall this evening and tonight as a warm front crosses the area and mixes with the cold air. That will set up a slushy weekend with mixed precipitation Saturday and rain on Sunday evening.
