A committee of the International Joint Commission is looking to speak with property owners along the Lake Ontario shoreline about the damages they suffered earlier this year in the spring flooding.
Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich says the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence River Adaptive Management Committee is holding the comment period for lakeshore property owners open until December 31st. Those who didn’t speak out at earlier hearings or on surveys can still get their comments heard.
The GLAM’s job is to examine the effectiveness of the rules regulating the outflow from Lake Ontario and the upper lakes.
