The Federal Emergency Management Agency will not make aid available to help Western New York communities hammered by the windstorm in March.  

New York was put under a state of emergency after the storm to help local governments be reimbursed for spending on the disaster response. But the $11 million spent cleaning up the damage around Monroe County doesn’t come close to meeting the minimum required to be eligible for FEMA Aid.
