Federal prosecutors say a four-time convicted felon pleaded guilty to being in possession of a gun and ammunition after U.S. Marshals stopped him with a pistol in open view on the seat of his car.

They say 40-year-old Roosevelt Collins III has no legal right to own a weapon as a convicted felon. He was caught with the weapon in July while sitting in a car on Magee Avenue in Rochester.
