The Greater Rochester International Airport’s upgrade is getting $2.4 million in federal funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Congresswoman Louise Slaughter say the money will be used to rebuild and expand the airport’s north apron. She’s also taking the opportunity to oppose President Trump’s budget proposal which cuts more than $2 billion in this type of funding for transportation infrastructure. She says airports are a critical part of rebuilding America’s economy.
