The man who admitted violently shaking, beating and strangling a toddler to death will serve 20-years-to-life in prison.
Twenty-six-year-old Cory Favata of Greece was sentenced today for killing the little girl in 2014. Rileigh Daniels was 17-months-old when her mother came home from work to find Rileigh unconscious and bleeding from the mouth. The baby was rushed from Pennels Drive to the hospital, but she died three days later.
Favata admitted to beating and strangling the child on several occasions while he was supposed to be watching her.
