Rochester police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened this morning near the corner of Sherman and Otis Streets on the West Side.
Rural Metro Ambulance confirms the victim died after the shooting on Otis Street. The scene is in site of School #54 and parents trying to get there were held back by police. The school was put into lockout, but the City School District says all the students are safe.
Police are investigating the scene and haven’t released any information yet.
