A Fairport man arrested for threatening a person with a shotgun was released on an appearance ticket, only to be arrested again for threatening the person with a string of text messages.
Fairport police arrested Nicholas Jordan, 26, on a charge of second degree menacing after he pointed the shotgun at another person and threatened to kill them. Jordan was released under New York’s new bail laws, only to be arrested less than four hours later for threatening the person in the prior incident via text messages.
Macedon police were sent to protect the victim’s home and nearby Gananda schools were locked down as a precaution.
