A Webster man has been sentenced to six months in jail and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to a charge of unlawful surveillance.
Terrance Hoctor was a teacher at the State Road Elementary School in Webster when he was charged with video recording students changing in a bathroom. The 44-year-old was charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance plus endangering the welfare of a child. In pleading guilty to the reduced charge Hoctor agrees to give up his teaching license and to register as a sex offender.
The incident took place in March. Hoctor had been a 4th Grade teacher at State Road Elementary since 2006.
