A Monroe County Grand Jury has indicted a Rochester man with murdering his estranged wife and their daughter over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Thirty-seven-year-old Patrick Brooks is charged with two counts of second degree murder for the deaths of Christie and Victoria Brooks at their home on Wellington Avenue. Their bodies were discovered on the morning of Friday, November 25th.
Brooks has a criminal record and has been in and out of state prison, twice out on parole since 2014. He was released just over two months before the murders.
Christie Brooks had just turned 35 on Thanksgiving, and 18-year-old Christie Brooks was a freshman at Canisius College.
