
Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo kept Monroe County government closed except for essential services and urged people to stay off the roads as much as possible to allow for faster plow runs. That’s not a travel restriction, but a warning to watch out as conditions are still poor.
Most town halls closed today. The City of Rochester kept city hall closed, as well as its R-Centers and library branches. They warn that if you park in the city, follow the alternate-side rules according to the signs or get ready to be towed.
The city and suburban trash companies have all pushed their pickups back by a day…Friday trash pickups will be on Saturday.

Livingston and Genesee Counties lifted their travel advisories but warned of continued blowing and drifting snow causing sudden loss of visibility on the roads.
Eastview, Greece-Ridge and the Marketplace Malls delayed their opening until noon, today as the nor-easter winds down. The University of Rochester was open on a limited basis only except for Strong Memorial Hospital and the UR Medical Center.
All area schools were closed for a second day as were all area state, county and city courts.
