The National Weather Service has a small stream flood warning for the east side of Monroe County, particularly Irondequoit Creek. It runs until 5:45 p.m.

Yesterday’s heavy thunderstorms put down one-and-a-quarter-inches of rain and sent the creek over its banks. Ellison Park flooded again for the second time in recent weeks. The water is falling, but slowly.

Meanwhile, there’s a high wind advisory until 11 p.m. Southwest winds will be in the 20s and 30s and gust into the 40 mile per hour range in Monroe and counties to the west.
