The faculty members and graduate students who first brought sexual harassment complaints against Professor Florian Jaeger are bristling over the investigation finding that some of their accusations weren’t true…although some were.
The half-dozen plaintiffs in the EEOC case against the university said in a news conference that investigator Mary Jo White did the investigation by her own rules to find no wrongdoing by the university.
Plaintiff Jessica Cantlon says they were retaliated against by the university when they first tried to tell their superiors about Jager’s conduct. Cantlon says their emails were retrieved and shared with their immediate superiors, creating a split in the department that was blamed on them in an effort to intimidate them into silence.
The plaintiffs say they have audio recordings they will introduce in court which will uphold all their claims against Florian Jaeger, including that he had sexual relationships with his students and pushed his staff and researchers to take drugs and attend hot tub parties.
