A suspended East Irondequoit school bus driver is free on bail after being arrested this week for driving drunk with children on his bus.
Anderson Hollins was flagged by a random drug and alcohol test on Monday. It showed his blood alcohol level above the legal limit, and Irondequoit Police charged him with seven counts of aggravated DWI and other charges.
Hollis was tested after he already drove a bus with seven children on board to the Holy Cross School on Lake Avenue.
Irondequoit Police Chief Richard Tantalo said it’s an unfortunate incident, but the random drug screening was done as it was supposed to be and caught the problem.
