The Monroe County Clerk’s office and the State Supreme Court’s 7th Judicial District have reached agreement on electronic filing of most civil court documents.

Starting today, County Clerk Adam Bello, plus Supreme Court Justices Craig Doran and Matthew Rosenbaum say e-filing is accepted for most court documents. Only a few proceedings have to be filed in person by New York law, including matrimonial cases, mental hygiene law and residential foreclosure cases.
Bello says the partnership with the courts will reduce customer wait times in his office, and surrounding counties have been using e-file for years.
