The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a man was charged with DWI after his car swerved off West Ridge Road in Parma Monday night and crashed into a utility pole.
Deputies say Henry Morris III was trapped inside his overturned car and had to be pried out after swerving off the north side of the road. His car went through the Canal View Auto Sales sign before hitting the pole. Wires came down and power was cut for the neighborhood.
Spencerport Fire and Ambulance rescued Morris from the wreck and RG&E crews restored power.
