A joint investigation into drug sales in the City of Geneva ended when two men sold the drug fentanyl to undercover officers in a parking lot off Routes 5 and 20.
Police charged 30-year-old Jonathan Dyson of Seneca Falls and 27-year-old Daniel Dockery of Geneva with criminal possession of a controlled substance and, and Dyson with two counts of selling drugs. Both men have been arraigned and are being held on $20,000 bail.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Dockery was previously arrested last month for selling heroin while staying at a motel in Geneva. He’d been released by court order pending a future hearing.
The sheriff’s offices of Ontario, Wayne and Seneca Counties cooperated in the investigation, as did the Geneva and Seneca Falls police departments.
