A Mount Morris man has been arrested for drug possession after the car he was riding in was pulled over for a traffic law violation on the heavily-patrolled I-390 corridor in Livingston County.
The sheriff’s office says 37-year-old Javier Alvarez was a passenger in the car. He turned out to have numerous bags of cocaine and heroin, plus hypodermic needles and a digital scale designed to look like a cellphone.
He’s being held on four drug possession and related charges pending $1,000 bail.
