A tow truck driver is in stable condition with head injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital today…after he was hit by a car on the Thruway in Victor last night.
The injured driver has been identified by his company as Troy Kelly.
State Police say the driver of the car that hit him and a passenger in another car were also taken to the hospital.
The crash happened late last night on an exit ramp when a car crashed into a car that the tow truck driver was winching back up onto the road. The crash shoved that second car into the tow truck driver.
The striking driver was ticketed for failing to obey the “move over” law and for driving at unreasonable speed.
