One driver was ticketed for failing to yield and the other with not having a license after a two-vehicle crash in Ontario County.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a 34-year-old California woman driving an SUV ran a stop sign at County Road 32 and Hickox Road, hitting a pickup truck driven by a Victor man.
Samira Karim had five passengers in her SUV ranging from ages five to 81. All had their seatbelts on and were OK, although Karim was taken to the hospital with rib pain.
The pickup driver, 34-year-old Justin Hept, turned out to be driving with a revoked license and was ticketed. He wasn’t hurt in the crash.
