A Toyota that ran a red light on North Clinton Avenue early this morning was hit by a Rochester police car as it was travelling through the intersection of North Clinton and Upper Falls Boulevard just north of Downtown.
Police say the impact at about 3:10 this morning rolled the Toyota on its side.
The driver, a 23-year-old city resident, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital as a precaution. The officer driving the patrol car was also taken to the hospital as a precaution, and the accident remains under investigation.
