An Avon man had to be rescued by removing the windshield after his dump truck overturned at a job site in Victor.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says 67-year-old Ernest Rivers was delivering a load of topsoil to a home on Plastermill Road when the steep angle of the driveway and a sudden shift in weight caused his truck to roll onto its left side, trapping Rivers in the driver’s seat.
Sheriff’s Deputies and rescue workers removed the windshield and freed Rivers, who was taken to FF Thompson Hospital with minor injuries.
