A pickup truck driver is dead after a crash in Penfield this morning.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on Route 441 between Salt Road and Harris Road. Deputies say the driver of a minivan swerved into the oncoming lane and hit the pickup. The pickup’s driver died about an hour later at Strong Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the minivan was taken to Rochester General Hospital as a precaution. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles and the crash remains under investigation.
