Downtown Geneva has been chosen as the winner of a $10 million state-funded makeover,

Governor Cuomo says Geneva was named winner of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative for the Finger Lakes Region. It’s a plan that’s supposed to transform the area into a place people will want to live and work. The governor was in Geneva last night for the announcement

Winners for these grants were chosen by the various Regional Economic Development Councils around New York. The Cuomo Administration budgeted a total of $100 million for communities statewide to upgrade their downtowns.
