Mugshot-cassandra-blake-2016The woman accused of stealing a dog from the kennel where she worked and selling it on Craigslist has been offered a plea deal.

Cassandra Blake is charged with stealing a companion animal. If she agrees to plead guilty, she’ll spend two months on shock probation in a local jail and a total of three years on probation. She has two weeks to make up her mind.

The dog’s owners say they don’t see much sign of remorse from Blake and think she should spend some more time behind bars.

Cassandra Blake stole Tessa, the Goldendoodle, from the kennel where she was being boarded while her family was out of town. She faked the dog’s death and sold it on facebook. The buyer came forward when media focused on the case and she realized what was going on.
