Dirty water trumped a concert in Watkins Glen this weekend.

Flooding caused by the monsoon rains that hit Schuyler County and Watkins Glen damaged the local water treatment plant that serves the village. The New York State Health Department issued a boil water warning for the village, and for the site of the band Phish’s Curveball Concert.

Phish was forced to cancel the concert after the health department confirmed it was impossible to deliver clean water to concert-goers and vendors.
