Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo say she’s happy where she is. Dinolfo says she appreciates the words of support, but will not seek the Republican nomination for Lt. Governor this year.
Dinolfo took part on a panel screening potential candidates for the Republican candidate for Governor, Marc Molinaro. There was considerable interest in Dinolfo herself running for Lt. Governor.
Dinolfo said in a weekend statement that she’s humbled by the kind words, but after reflecting with her family will not run. Dinolfo says she’s lived, worked and raised a family in Monroe County and she remains committed to keeping the community in good hands in 2018 and beyond.
