Monroe County executive Cheryl Dinolfo spoke Thursday night of moving the county forward and growing its economy during her annual State of the County address.

Dinolfo spoke at Frontier Field, recognizing the agreement with Rochester Community Baseball to keep the Red Wings playing at Frontier.

Dinolfo said her administration has secured or helped create more than 13,000 jobs in Monroe County, and more are coming with developments like Amazon’s fulfillment center coming to the area. $32 million dollars will go into local transportation improvements to help push economic growth.

Dinolfo said she’ll fight to continue a flat property tax rate while investing more into public safety, particularly into fighting the opioid drug crisis
