Three other Rochester Rattlers are making contributions to the Georgia Swarm.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Several Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Rochester Rattlers helped their National Lacrosse League teams over the weekend as the NLL regular season is drawing to a close.

Dhane Smith recorded another 7-point night and Blaze Riorden returned to the Buffalo Bandits lineup with 2 assists against the Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday night. Smith led Buffalo (5-8) with 3 goals and 4 assists, but ended up losing to the two-time NLL Champions, 17-14. Smith leads the Bandits with 62 points for the season (23 goals and 39 assists).

The Georgia Swarm (9-4) won on Saturday night against the Colorado Mammoth, 21-13. Joel White assisted on one goal and picked up 12 loose balls and causing one turnover. John Ranagan picked up three loose balls. Jordan MacIntosh had one helper, picked up eight loose balls and was 18-of-33 on faceoffs.

The Swarm, who lead the Eastern Division, return to action on Friday, April 7 against the New England Black Wolves (7-7). NE currently holds the third and final playoff spot, and trail second place Toronto Rock (8-7) by half a game.

The Bandits are 1.5 games behind NE and play Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday, April 8.

The Rochester Knighthawks (5-9) are 2 games out of a playoff berth, and are idle this weekend.
