The Deputy involved in a deadly shooting last month in Pembroke will not face charges.
Assistant District Attorney Melissa Cianfrini says State Police have completed their investigation into the incident, and the deputy has been cleared by a grand jury.
The shooting happened the night of April 11 at the Indian Falls Log Cabin Bar and Restaurant. Deputies went there after a 911 call about a man with a handgun threatening patrons.
Authorities say Keith Kent of Albion pointed the gun at a deputy, and after Kent ignored orders to put the gun down, the deputy fired 15 rounds at Kent. One shot hit Kent in the neck and fatally wounded him.
