The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find the driver who ran down a 13-year-old Victor girl in a crosswalk in the Village of Pittsford on Sunday morning.
Deputies say 13-year-old Julia Demars was knocked flat while crossing main street by an older driver who witnesses say got out of his car, looked around and then drove off.
People eating breakfast at a Main Street diner saw the incident and called 911. Anyone who has information about the car is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
