The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in a string of west side suburban burglaries that targeted mostly motorcycles and all terrain vehicles.
They’ve charged 17-year-old Juan Carlos Ortega-Baez of Rochester with criminal possession of stolen property after catching him with a stolen ATV valued at about $16,000. It had been reported stolen in a burglary in Parma earlier this month.
The sheriff’s office says the arrest is a result of the continuing investigation into the string of burglaries, and that investigation continues.
Ortega-Baez is out of jail on pre-trial release.
