The death of a three-year-old girl from Greece remains under investigation. Rochester Police say the Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of 3-year-old Brook Stagles a homicide.
Her father, Michael Stagles, asked his former girlfriend for a ride to Strong Memorial Sunday night. Robin Reyome tells 13 WHAM says she was shocked to see the three year old’s condition. She says Brook had two black eyes and appeared to be having trouble breathing.
Reyome has a child with Michael Stagles, who is Brook Stagles’ half brother. She says she suspected something was wrong and blames herself for not speaking out.
Brook Stagles died Monday morning. Police say they don’t have a suspect yet. Their investigation is just getting underway.
