The fifth annual Deaf Rochester Film Festival is coming up in about a month; March 22-25 at several Rochester-area theaters including the Dryden and the Little.
It’s an event that promotes and showcases films by deaf and hard-of-hearing filmmakers, plus a host of other purposes including the preservation of deaf culture and to inspire future filmmakers.
A committee is screening films for possible inclusion and the promoters say they’ll have a final schedule shortly.
