A Dansville man has been arrested on several felony charges after an investigation into a stolen gun.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says the handgun was stolen from a home in Nunda. Investigation identified a possible suspect in 31-year-old Joseph Blizzard. With the help of Dansville police, they arrested Blizzard and recovered the stolen gun, which he had sold to another person.
Blizzard is charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal sale of a weapon. He’s being held on $20,000.
The sheriff’s office says charges may be coming against other parties in this theft.
