Rochester Police and firefighters rescued a man from a burning house at 110 Dakota Street late last night.
The fire broke out about 10:00 p.m. in the house near the corner of Jay Street, blocking the man’s path out of his home. Firefighters moved the man to a different part of the house while they fought the flames, getting the fire out in about ten minutes.
The man was treated for possible smoke inhalation, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
