Rochester police are investigating the shooting of a 40 year old city man in the city’s Edgerton Neighborhood. It happened near the corner of Emerson and Curlew Streets. Police responded to the shot spotter system and found the victim. The first officer on scene applied a tourniquet to control bleeding from the victim’s leg and he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
