Despite New York’s positive COVID statistics Governor Cuomo remains adamant that young people between 21 and 30 need to comply with safety protocols. The 21-30 segment is where the state is seeing an uptick, and the governor says he knows why: because of parties.
Cuomo says in this case, it’s not time for young people to fight for their right to party. Plus, he says there is a sense of invulnerability among this age group even though “the virus can kill you”.
The state is now releasing a new ad campaign targeting this particular segment which features many of the excuses heard about why young people don’t need to worry.
