New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says with COVID infection rates on the increase again, he’s ordering state workers to either be vaccinated or present weekly proof of a negative coronavirus test. But Monroe County Executive Adam Bello told reporters on Wednesday he does’t yet see the need for giving county employees such an order.
Bello said county workers are getting vaccinated and taking appropriate precautions against COVID.
Cuomo says all state workers must be vaccinated by Labor Day or submit to regular on-the-job testing.
