Governor Cuomo has ordered a comprehensive review of how well colleges and universities across New York are complying with the state’s “Enough is Enough” law against sexual assault.

The law went into effect in 2015. It obligates the schools both to protect students from dating violence, stalking and sexual assault, and also to fully investigate any allegation of sexual abuse on campus.

The governor says a multi-agency team will review records of all private and SUNY System colleges to make sure they’re complying with the law.
