Governor Andrew Cuomo says bars and restaurants that fail to comply with New York’s rules for reopening face losing their liquor licenses.
The governor signed two executive orders Thursday. One allows the State Liquor Authority to strip the license from any business that violates masking and social distancing rules. The second makes the businesses responsible for what happens on the sidewalk or outdoor areas immediately outside their buildings.
