<p>New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says New York remains on track for the Finger Lakes region, the Mohawk Valley and the Southern Tier to begin reopening on Friday. But Cuomo says there’s growing concern over a COVID-19-related syndrome that now appears to have affected 100 children across the state. Three of those children have died.</p>

<p>It’s an inflammation of the blood vessels similar to Kawasaki Disease that can affect the heart, and appears in some children who test positive for COVID-19. The governor urged parents whose children develop such symptoms to have their children tested for the coronavirus.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Cuomo says hospitalizations for the respiratory COVID-19 symptoms continue to decline. The number of lives lost from Monday to Tuesday afternoon was 195, up a bit, but still below 200.</p>
