The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office wrapped up a burglary investigation in less than an hour this week after catching the 18-year-old suspect red handed.
Sheriff Tom Dougherty says a Mount Morris man was charged with burglary and petit larceny after an incident in the Town of York. A homeowner reported their garage had been broken into and items including alcohol, cigarettes and motorcycle parts were stolen.
Responding officers examining the scene found the stolen property and quickly identified 18-year-old Michael Flint as the suspect. He’s been arraigned and is being held on $1,500 bail.
