The man accused in the Xerox Federal Credit Union robbery and murder will remain in custody until his trial, following a hearing Wednesday afternoon in federal court.

Richard Wilbern’s defense argued that DNA left behind on an umbrella wasn’t sufficient evidence to warrant denying bail, but the judge disagreed.

Prosecutors revealed that Wilbern, a former Xerox employee, visited the credit union seven times before the robbery, but never again afterwards.
